GNCC Friday Update Caught up with the “Axeman” – actually with an axe – getting the “Blu Cru” tents, flags and bunting up and everything ready for Saturday’s Round 4 of the MotoSR GNCC. “It’s going to be perfect” says Paul Whibley. “Sunshine plus tracks that have come up nicely. There’s a good mix of terrain, with challenges to keep the experts happy, but very do-able for all other riders, juniors included. Good flow, fun existing tracks, a couple of rocky little creek crossings, some brand new single line sections – it’s going to be a great event at one of my favourite tracks”. If you don’t know the Maddix Trail Loops, they are clay based soil tracks that wind through native bush that most riders don’t go slow enough to appreciate. The race loops also incorporate part of the MX track which provides great spectator viewing. Sign on is at the Maddix track from 8am Saturday morning, 21st November. Juniors Race starts at 9.30am and the Seniors at 12 midday. No licence is required. Cost is $45 for Juniors and $70 for Seniors. Bring your sun tan lotion. There was a spot of rain earlier in the week but no puddles now, so it definitely won’t be a mudfest – apologies to those who were wanting one. See you tomorrow !
