CC Trophy Fun MX

Maddix Park Sunday 10th

Sunday 10th November is CC Trophy Day at Maddix Park.

This CC has nothing to do with the size of your motor  - all bikes are welcome - and it doesn’t mean Countless Crashes,  Carburettor Calamity or  Crushed Collarbone.

CC is for New Zealand MX champion and international rider Cody Cooper.

The trophies awaiting new winners are signed trophies that Cody Cooper himself won on his way up through the mini and junior ranks to become a champion. And there are some great trophies to be won. They are not all first place trophies.  There are 2nds, 3rds and 6ths as well. But just like all you mini and junior riders out there, Cody had to begin somewhere.   He’s being riding since he was 5.  He loved it then and he loves the sport still.

“MX is fun!” is Cody’s message. “So keep riding and having fun!”

Maddix Park hopes that these trophies will serve as an inspiration and encouragement to those seeking MX sporting excellence and as a reminder that with focus, determination, hard work and perseverance, helped, of course, by a small dash of talent, success is possible.

The focus of the CC Trophy MX event will be on the younger riders with trophies allocated for 1st to 4th places in the mini and junior classes. However, there is also racing for senior, vet and women riders.

Riders can enter on the day.  Sign in is from 7.30am, riders' briefing at 8.45am.
