The “Mad” Half is Back

with the heart of an Olympic Champion!

The “mad” half of Maddix Park is back on deck.  Welcome back to Margaret Dean alias Nana Dean who, after a 7 week hospital stay, is smiling and joking at the sign on window once more.  She’ll be around for a while longer.  The doctors say her 90 year old heart is the heart of an Olympic champion for her age.

She isn’t really mad in either sense of the word.  Maddix Park got its name from a combination of her name Margaret Dean and that of her husband the late Dixie Dean who  purchased the property from Odlins Timber close to 50 years ago.
