Motorcycling Australia and promoter International Entertainment Group have released the calendar of the 2013 Australian Supercross Championship.

The series will expand to six rounds over four weekends this season, increased by two rounds over the 2012 schedule.

As outlined previously on MotoOnline.com.au, the series will commence alongside the Australian Superbike Championship at Hidden Valley Raceway in Darwin on 14-15 September in a double-header format (click here for details).

South Australia will gain a position on the calendar with round three on 12 October, before Phillip Island hosts the fourth and fifth rounds of the season one weekend later alongside the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix on 18-20 October.

Toowoomba will return to the schedule for the second year in succession with the sixth and final round on 16 November.
