Motorcycle USA media partner, Cycle News, gives Yamaha Factory Racing’s Jorge Lorenzo center-stage in its newest digital edition, available now. In the 2013 MotoGP season opener in Qatar, Lorenzo rocketed to the front and put in a stellar performance for the win, but was overshadowed by the return of Valentino Rossi to the tuning fork brand. Rossi’s second-place finish came after a race-long push up the ranks and ended with a head-to-head battle against rookie Marc Marquez of Repsol Honda in the final laps, providing a nail-biting start to what promises to be an amazing season. Then it’s off to the Monster Energy Supercross showdown in Houston where Ryan Villopoto scored his fifth consecutive win of the year. Cycle News then reviews the Sidi Boots Moonshine Cross Country OMA Nationals battle in Kentucky where Russell Bobbitt continued to dominate. Editors also interview one of the most powerful men in European motorcycling, KTM President and CEO, Stefan Pierer, to gain insight on KTM’s recent successes on the race track and on the showroom floor. All this and more can be found in Cycle News, Volume 50, Issue 14, available in digital edition by following the link below.
