Moss, Styke and Harwood lead respective championships heading into the Monster Energy MX Nationals round eight. NZers Cody Cooper, Rhys Carter, Kayne Lamont, Logan Blackburn and Hamish Harwood will also be part of the action.
LOCH Vic August 8th – Following a week’s break rides with this week head to Swan Hill in Victoria for round 8 of the championship series.
This Sunday round 8 of the 2013 Monster Energy MX Nationals will make its first visit to Swan Hill in Northern Victoria.
This weekends round will see the action hot up in the premier MX1 class, with Motul Suzuki’s Matt Moss (102) the new series leader tensions will be high.
This weekend it will be worth keeping an eye on the following riders Jake Moss Campbell Mining Suzuki, after being penalized last week Jake will be out to take the top spot this Sunday, Todd Waters Motorex KTM, Billy Mac CDR Yamaha.
Adam Monea, Monster Kawasaki will all be looking for podiums this weekend, being one of the few to have riden the track Monea cleaned up back in June when the state championships was at Swan Hil.
Motorex KTM rider Todd Waters reportedly took a fall last weekend landing on his injured shoulder, hopefully this doesn’t effect him to much.
The Go Pro Super Pole is proving to be a very important part of the championship and those who have been including the sprint speed in there training and benefiting.

“ The Swan Hill club lead by president Dean have done a great job, its been a pleasure working with them I hope the weather is good this weekend because everything else is 100% set.
This will be the first time a national Motocross championship has ever been to Swan Hill.
The circuit will produce some great racing with fantastic viewing for all spectators.
The track has undergone some upgrades and widening for the event plus other upgrades including new canteen, mechanics and signaling area to name a few of the improvements.”
