The organisers of the 2015 Manjimup 15,000 have confirmed that reigning champion Kirk Gibbs along with Luke Styke and Jay Marmont will all contest the 2015 event, joining international riders Josh Hill, and Brad Groombridge.

The Cosy Creek circuit is expected reach a crowd of 8000 riders and spectators with the confirmation of not only Australia’s best racers, but also the worlds most elite.

2014 winner of the Manjimup 15,000, Kirk Gibbs, is excited to be racing the event for the third year in a row now.

“It's always exciting going to Manjimup. I really like the track there and it's a no pressure race, so we always have a lot of fun.” Said Gibbs. “It's such a well-known event, and I'm such a big fan of the track.

"Also with KTM being based in Perth, it works out well to come over, race and get to see everyone. It’s also in our break, which works out well to keep me behind the gate.

“It’s always a great line up of riders that race Manjimup, so I didn't expect anything different this year. It will be tough, and any of those riders could win. And the feature, with the one-lap races, will be very challenging. But for me it’s to have fun. If I win, that’s a bonus, but if not, it's not a massive deal. I just want to have a good weekend and have some good racing for the crowd.” He concluded.

Joining the international and national stars will also be a host of local riders, who will all be tough to beat.

Riders such as Kyle Webster, Dean Porter, Jayden Rykers, Robert Lovett and Connor Tierney are all contenders to win the event, plus a list of others who could also be in with a chance.

Practice will be held on Friday June 5, with the juniors competing on Saturday June 6th, and the Manjimup 15,000 taking place on Sunday June 7th.
