Motorcycling New Zealand offers free Coaching!

Motorcycling New Zealand has in place free Coach the Coaches seminars to accredit coaches under Motorcycling New Zealand.

These free seminars are open to all MNZ members and is for all motorcycle disciplines and will cover both theoretical and practical components on how to coach effectively.  Whilst no previous coaching experience is required, we are targeting existing coaches and those who wish to raise the standard of Motorcycling in New Zealand.

Conducting the seminars will be recognised motorcycle coaches Niki Uriwn & Antony Sproull, they have developed a Level 1 Coaching Manual which forms the basis of the seminars, the resource will be an invaluable 'go-to' tool when coaching in the field.  Everyone who goes through the training will be a MNZ accredited Level 1 coach.

Motorcycling New Zealand is excited about this opportunity and we believe it is another significant step toward Advancing the Sport of Motorcycling in this country.

To date we have had 40 participants attend two trainings, one in Auckland and one in Christchurch and all of the feedback has been extremely positive some of the comments received were:

~It was professional, run at a good pace and at a good skill level
~The tutors - Ant and Nkki were clear and thorough
~What was instructed was relevant and a great introduction for coaches
~Thank you for the opportunity put on by MNZ and I hope to see further levels in the future
~Just to let you know that the coaching course was very good - it was very well presented both Niki and Ants did a good job on the day
~I think this is a very good initiative undertaken by MNZ to allow these courses, I hope the good work continues
